I love those games and use GeForce NOW to play quite frequently. For players like me, that is a pretty big deal. However – and this is an important however – GeForce NOW has free-to-play games like Fortnite and Apex Legends that Stadia simply cannot match at this point. While Stadia’s Pro membership comes with some games, there are no free games bundled in with GeForce NOW. That’s right, as a Chromebook user you can now try the paid versions of both primary game streaming services for a full 3 months completely for free. While there are a few worthwhile deals in there right now like a few free games from the Play Store (Project High Rise and The House of Da Vinci) and a premium subscription to Clipchamp, by far the most interesting perk on offer is the latest GeForce NOW Founders membership that matches the 3 free months of Stadia Pro. These little deals specifically made for Chromebook users can run the gambit from free Google Drive space to deals on sweet games like Doom and Doom 2, so the Chromebook Perks page is always worth keeping a keen eye on. One of the fun-yet-oft-forgotten privileges of being a Chromebook owner is the inclusion of perks.
